Our annual “trick or trunk” Halloween Carnival was a smashing success this year. Hundreds of children and parents turned out for the Friday night event featuring rides, games, food trucks, safe trick or treating and pumpkin decorating contests.

We are off to a great start and the children are adjusting wonderfully to their new classrooms. We are looking forward to a great year!

We have had so much fun this summer at Get Ready Set Grow. So far, we have seen a magic show and the Palm Beach Zoo even came and visited us to learn more about the little critters they brought along with them.

Setting rules and times for completing homework is extremely important for nurturing a child’s work ethic. Set a designated homework time that will get your children into a routine. Tell them that once their homework is completed fully and correctly they can go outside or spend an hour watching TV. By doing this, you are teaching your children to reward themselves for being productive.

We had a big event at our school last week to help raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. It was called the MDA Hop-A-Thon. We invited all of families to school and the had a potato sack race. Thank you to all who came and supported the cause!
